I feel I should start with my own career which has led me to creating this site. I’ll go by LNB (Little Nerd Bird) for now. Not because I don’t want you to know who I am, but I don’t want the amazing people I work with to get too big of a head. 

I have been in some function of the human resources world for just over five years now. Technically, the deeper into the field I go the more I realize how much every job I have had has led me to success with my current career path. I have been abundantly blessed with positive role models and exceptional leaders to help boost my job trajectory, but I am also thankful for the amazing people climbing the hill beside me. 

I currently oversee the human resource functions, plan administration of multiple benefit plans, in house payroll and whatever else I can find to help with. I feel I have very unique combination of social interactions and math. To be honest (spoiler alert), the people are my favorite part. 

I have grown to love the difference in people, to truly try to see the story from every perspective. Not to say there isn’t someone in the wrong, but to say it is impossible to have a rational opinion without the insight of both sides. What’s right for you may not be right for me. In my current position this comes into play everyday. 

I’ll go further into life in HR later, but fortunately for you – you will find an HR department anywhere. I want to hear what makes the other positions something to aspire for!
